Artist, Sculptor Brian Schader

Pipe Dreams
Brian's definition of a pipe dream?.....

"A narrow, very focused path of desire"

While the road of life has had it's twists and turns, Brian from the age of 19 has pursued his passions and his life as an artist, to the fullest extent of his abilities. Never dissuaded by others from attaining his goals, he has never looked back and is extremely thankful for what has been (so far) a very fulfilling, creative and rather "artful" life!

The artist's vocational "pipe dreams"....

• To inspire, encourage, influence and motivate through art. To pass on the message that we all have the ability to lead our lives in a positive manner by making the simple decision to do so. To lead by example and live every day to the fullest, loving and encouraging those around us.

To have an International Exhibition. Reviewing details for a studio in conjunction with an annual international exhibition. Once we have some solid info, we'll update the Home Page Bio/Blog.

• Have "Sentinels Series" become a renowned tribute to the U.S. soldiers who selflessly risk their lives for our country and our way of life. One day becoming the largest multiple element sculpture in the world promoting gratitude.

The artist's life "pipe dreams".....

Continue to support animal rights organizations.

Promote peace, tolerance, acceptance and compassion through art.

Time, energy and financial support of those things we believe in.

Never feel too tired, too old, too busy or intimidated to fight injustice.

Guiding his son and twin daughters into happy adulthood. (all the while being healthy, wealthy & wise)

Travel around the world...twice.

• Love his family with all his heart.

• Work harder to cultivate and nurture relationships.

• To live and die with no regrets.

To Remember daily, that success in life is happiness and only happiness.

(no income required.....well except for the 2x around the world..;)

Poetry
/Prose

Appropriate for "Pipe Dreams" and one of Brian's favorites:

"Harmony"
(2002)

Harmony of heart of mind and soul
create an eloquent embrace.

Begin to play as if a child

your hesitance show not a trace.

To simply exist,

you soon shall find,

like the droplet of water

on the mirror of time.

It lasts but a moment

as you do know,

consider life short

and let yourself grow.

"For A Friend"
(2015)

perception's voice
clear or so it seems
listen to feel
awaken all their dreams

time will be spent
a price you choose to pay
walk slowly through words
not a letter paint in gray

hold hands with the thought
brought forth and through the air
reflect the eye of musing
allow their heart to share

sunder from reason
assure through calm repose
give no audience to judgment
life's opinions don't impose

attend to their soul
so little to convey
just be there by their side
a fulfilling gift you'll pay

"Garden of Life"
(2001)

While sunlight casts upon my face,
I know not of a finer place.

The smell of Lilac and Daffodil,
In my soul time stands still.

Reflecting pools of the sky
standing calm, I ponder, why.

A change I've made, it's for the good,
a change of job and neighborhood.

Soon in my garden with dreams at hand
a flower will grow, as I know I can.

"Giving"
(2003)

I sit and I ponder
the time that I squander
and think how it might help another.

We all must begin to reach deep within
and find time to give to each other.

Just one hour of your day
is an incredible way
to give thanks for the life you've been given.

While deep down inside
you'll be bursting with pride
you'll feel like you're living in heaven.

Give it some time
to become part of your life
a wonderful habit for health.

Soon you will say
I can't get through my day
without giving a part of myself.

Precious moments are few
if you only knew
how much is derived from your giving
you'd give of your day
and surely would say
I now know the meaning of living.

"Expose"
(2003)

Reach deep into your soul
and grasp from below
those feelings you rarely express
to expose one's own heart
can be the hard part
but oh what a wonderful quest.

Once you do so
the words, they will flow
bringing life to your mind and your spirit.

Tell those close around you
the things that astound you
and rest assured
that they'll love to hear it.

And all whom you love
and haven't told so
most important
I think you do know
make mention of this
maybe just with a kiss
or a whisper from deep down below.

The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it.
— CHINESE PROVERB

Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you’re right.
— HENRY FORD

Inspirational Quotes:

People who approach life with a sense of gratitude are constantly aware of what's wonderful in their life. Because they enjoy the fruits of their successes, they seek out more success. And when things don't go as planned, people who are grateful can put failure into perspective.

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.
I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.
